Welcome to the King of the Ring Website

The King of the Ring combat league tournaments feature local amateur talent from a variety of different clubs or varying experience. All bouts take place in a ring with the stars of each event focused on the participants.

These events will feature

  • Amateur boxing
  • Amateur kickboxing
  • Amateur K1
  • Amateur San Shou / MMA

What experience is required

The King of the Ring events are open to all styles, experience and age ranges providing we can match you with a suitable opponent. All bouts are carefully matched to provide a favourable experience for each participant and excitement for the spectators. Matching is done according to weight and experience.

Are decisions made on the night ?

Decisions are always made on the night and scored by a team of table judges. Winners are decided by accumalating points over the specified  rounds

How does the league work ?

The league works by means of a series of one man matches during the season. At the end of each season a final eliminator knockout tournament is held decide the King of the Ring for each weight class for that year. Trophies are awarded for the one man matches and cash prizes for the final eliminator.
